In 2008, Major Raul Reyes, number 2 of FARC, died in the jungle under bombs dropped by the CIA and the Colombian army. With his body, the military recovered his computers: ten years of correspondence from the man in charge of negotiations for the release of a hundred hostages and responsible for foreign affairs of the oldest communist guerrilla in the world. Red Jungle plunges into the mental universe of this man who led the FARC with an iron fist, even as the revolutionary utopia gradually sank into a nightmare.
